Made from 100% recycled material, including cotton and micro-fibre, this clever barrier mat traps up to 95% of dust, wed mud and dirt, and is great for catching stray crumbs and food spillages. The cotton fibres soak up moisture, protecting carpets and floors and reducing the need to clean.
Produced in the UK, the barrier mat is machine washable at 30 degrees and - amazingly - gets softer and more absorbent with each wash! All the dyes used in our eco-friendly Mat range are sourced from fruits and vegetables and certified organic by . The mats are fully recyclable at the end of their life - making them the ultimate eco-friendly mats available.
The backs of the mat are made from recycled rubber powder, its light weight with waffle backing to stop creep on floors. They are anti-slip and anti-stain. The BAKE eco-friendly mat is ideal for use by the stove, or to place anywhere in the kitchen which gets a bit messy. The mat also makes a great eco-friendly house-warming gift for any keen cook or baker.
