Often used as a daylight replacement on dark and rainy days, the Biobulb is thought to improve mood, and helps restore the body's natural rhythms. Ideal for SAD suffers. Lasts up to 10 000 hours, or seven years, giving massive energy savings to the user. Technical Information: Flicker free, and radiates the full spectrum (380-780mm), Colour rendering index of 85, Light output of 1750 Lumens, Low heat 6500 kelvin colour temperature.One hour spent in the presence of two 100 watt bulbs gives the same benefits as a 3000 Lux light box. Caution: Use only with 220-240 volts. Indoor fixtures must contain ventilation holes. not intended for use with dimming circuits.
